MOMS DEMAND ACTION / EVERYTOWN FOR GUN SAFETY
Moms Demand Action envisions a country where all children and families are safe from gun violence. Our nonpartisan grassroots movement has grown to include a chapter in every state across the country. We are educating, motivating, and mobilizing supporters to take action that will result in stronger laws and policies to save lives.
Moms Demand Action is an affiliate of Everytown For Gun Safety, a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities. Gun violence touches every town in America. For too long, change has been thwarted by the Washington gun lobby and by leaders who refuse to take common-sense steps that will save lives. But something is changing. More than 3 million mayors, moms, cops, teachers, survivors, gun owners, and everyday Americans have come together to make their own communities safer. Together, we are fighting for the changes that we know will save lives.
Join in on a friendly dinner and a short presentation by a local member of Moms Demand Action. We will supply the baked potatoes - you supply a vegetarian dish to share (serving 6-8 people): a topping (other than cheese), salad, appetizer, side dish, or dessert to share (serving 6-8 people). Please no meat or fish; eggs, butter, diary is fine.
We suggest that if your last name begins with:
A-M: bring something savory (a topping (not cheese), salad, appetizer, side, etc.)
N-Z: bring something sweet (dessert)
A suggested minimum donation of $25 will be collected at the door
All donations collected will be delivered directly to Moms Demand Action - please, be generous!

Dinner With A Cause is an independent, secular event open to all interested parties. We hope to make this a recurring event with a different "cause" each time. We welcome suggestions for national or local advocacy organizations to support at future events and hope that you make Dinner With A Cause an ongoing event on your calendar.
If you can’t make it but would like to support the Cause, please donate directly at donate.everytown.org/donate/Moms-Donate
